Memories, memories. We had a working rule: after seven typos on a page (even with fluid), it had to be re-typed entirely. I later rented the use of a fax machine in a nearby office to save driving across town to deliver documents. And modems! I can remember getting my e-mail from CompuServe in ascii mode. I don't translate much these days, but the fight against speed and the auto-pilot mentality are as valid for copywriting as they are for translating. Wow. Memories, memories.
