Translorial is a quarterly journal sent to all members of the Northern California chapter of the American Translators Association, the NCTA, and made available in PDF format from a Members Only page to its members, as well as anyone registered with the association as a “Translorial Reader.” There is no fee charged for the latter type of registration.

The printed and paperless versions of Translorial include more articles with news about NCTA events and activities during the quarter as well as many more pictures.

You can join NCTA, either as a full-fledged paying member, or simply as a Translorial reader, through the registration process on the association’s website. Choose one of the two options in the final step of the process.

You may also start by visiting the Translorial Archive page of the NCTA website. Access to this page is not restricted. There you will find more information about our journal’s contributors and about our policies for submission of articles and placement of advertisements.

Registered members or readers can also jump from the Translorial Archive page to the Members Only section of the Archive where they may download the paperless PDF version of Translorial, from the latest fully interactive issues, to past ones going as far back as May 2003. YA

There was a delay in posting the January articles because of a change in volunteers. The lead article Translating for Humanity has been posted.
